So it seems if I don't agree with a mod here he just delete's my post?

WTF type of moderation is that? I thought opinions were fine?

So now they have to be the same opinion or the mods will delete them? lmao

I think CK sent you a letter explaining all this to you. If that isn't clear then post something else similar to this and I'll make it quite clear to you.

My mind tells me logically that it can't be out until June at the earliest.

I think it will be at least 2011.... 2.2 that is... and when I say out I mean a release from verizon, not google.. google already has released it to some, so that's not news.

They are announcing Froyo at Google I/O so it won't be out before then.

Throw Motorola, VZW and testing in there and the picture comes into focus a little more clearer : )

I hope android 2.2 gives us droid users more home screens and maybe the 3d launcher.. If the lg ally has the 3d launcher with a keyboard, it should be able to be put on the droid..

Doesn't HelixLauncher 2 already grant this functionality? It does for me anyway.

True, but it's kinda buggy and laggy. It'd be nice to have it stock on the phone too..

Yeah.....I guess you're right. But things can happen quicker. Look at 2.0.1. It was released right on the rumored date. I just have this one little bug in my ear telling me something different. And I have no idea if it's reliable so that's why I don't want to say anything to cause speculation.

I have absolutely nothing to link up. So I'll go along with the logical assumption.

For 2.2 to release:

The source code would be out.
The sdk would be released before the source code.
Verizon would test the bjeezus out of it.
Google will release it fot the Nexus One first.

Will we see it in 5 days? Not a chance.
Google Killed the Nexus one last thursday, you can't buy them anymore.. at least from google anyway.

How do you figure they're killing off the Nexus One? I don't think they would kill off their primary dev. phone that easily. Google simply decided that selling it online exclusively was a bad idea, which means that you're going to see N1's pop up in B&M stores.

That doesn't mean support or warranties are cancelled.

The nexus one will be available through the carriers now... nothing is going away other then selling them direct.

Sprint and VZW already announced no N1. T-M is selling them for their network. But, they're GSM and I haven't heard of any CDMA carrier committing to the N1 at all.

Yea, there will probably be a rooted version available online long before the official version gets pushed OTA.
