I'm all over the Bionic!! Well, unless it ends up feeling like a cheap piece of plastic - has to feel "substantial". It's something you are going to handle a hundred times per day and it HAS to feel right.

It's a MotoDroid, and it's Bionic - I'm sure it will feel right :)

Well, I've got my non-bionic fingers crossed. :)

After bring on the fence initially, count me in. I have an upgrade that has been burning like a furnace in my soul and have been holding out since August. This phone is it. Waiting until April is going to be very, very hard....

Now...depending on what I do about carriers it will be my next phone. Right now its between Verizon, Sprint and AT&T.

I moved recently and Verizon isnt as good here. So if LTE does help with reception the Bionic is mine.

Although I could get a network extender..decisions, decisions...

I'm not doing it. I'm not eligible for an upgrade for another 14 months or so, I'm staying with my D2.

Now if I was eligible for an upgrade or even close to it I'd do it.

Ill probably get this phone as well. I'll wait a while though to see about the bootloader and rooting it. Might just go with the thunderbolt it Moto locks this down.

It's a good contender for me... however, I'm past being patient and hate waiting.

4G doesn't matter a lick to me, so everything being put on hold for this crap to roll out is not something I'm a fan of.

-rant over :) thanks for listening.

I am waiting for this device also. But people need to realize that April is the best possible scenario. They could go all the way to the end of June and still be in the 2nd quarter. We've been strung along with talk of quarters before.

Just wondering, what's the difference between locked and unlocked bootloader?

"unlocked" bootloader = FULL customization from the kernel all the way down

Bionic if unlocked bootloader. Thunderbolt if Bionic locked down. Verizon Iphone if Thunderbolt locked down. I know, apple locks their phones down, but history has shown they provide longterm upgrades for their phones. Heck, they made phone upgrades a standard.
