Frankly, I don't understand this.
If I drive my car into another car there is a good chance one of us has to be towed.
If I drop my phone onto concrete there is a good chance the screen will be broken.
If I drop an egg in the kitchen there is a good chance it will break.
Glass is Glass. Gorilla or otherwise. Glass breaks when it receives a sudden impact. I don't think there is any getting around this fundamental principle of physics.


Moral of the story:
Don't hit other cars or drop your phone or eggs and you will be fine....
Just treat your phone like an egg.

I agree. People who know their protectors are stronger definitely tend to be more careless regarding their device. While the gorilla glass may be tougher than other types of glass... it's a lot safer to spend the money and get a protector JUST incase..

Statistics would be excellent though.
