How do you do this when theres not even a root access yet for the build. I was one of thw soak testers and I SBF'd back to 2.3.4 cuz I couldnt root it. And I noticed no difference.

I was good up until i flash 2.3.5 -418 and lost root access!

After I installed the update, i reinstalled Voodoo rootkeeper and it did not work! I really want to get this 2.2 on my dx2. try to bring it to life!

What Can I do?

if rootkeeper could not find backup, you need to sbf back to 2.3.4, and try again

not yet, may never be, just ota rootkeeper

edit: maybe something on xda, I read the other day, someone was working on root for D2 or D2G

Sorry guys - I checked and can't find an MD5 checksum for this. Any chance someone can post that? I think my DL was corrupt because I just bricked and have to SBF again.. I'd really like to try this out based off everyone's kudos..

did you remove voodoo su backup?
when you bricked, did you get to eclipse boot logo, it can take sometime to boot first time,
especially if you wipe dalvik cache
if it bootloops try wiping data again, in android recovery

That did it themib! I must have left su backup active... animals!!! Anyway, I'm looking at the nice ECLIPSE boot logo- I really appreciate your help, and looking forward to testing out this ROM!

Thanks themib - The install actually failed 1/2 way through, and when it rebooted out of BSR it just hung at the M. Hmm... that's strange - checksum matches.. I did not remove voodoo - maybe that hosed it? I'm definitely going to try again today - I'll read the OP once more too. Appreciate the help!

I have to say this is an awesome ROM. I'm having just one problem, the vibrate function is not working for incoming txt messages. Is anyone else seeing this problem. Running Eclipse 2.1.

You have to enable vibrate in the mms settings..
