Well Hook... I guess this became a ROOT thread after all...

I was never interested in rooting but if the ROM being discussed has BTVD and we don't get a non-root update in a few weeks I'll seriously consider rooting.

Me too. I just hope this update doesn't require root or i'll be rooting.

I was always afraid to root, but let me tell you once I lost my fear and did it was the best thing I have ever done.

Running BB 1.1 @ 1ghz just awesome.
