Well, it does say on the chart that it would be "Available for Pull 11:59PM EST" on 5/6, so that may be the source. Of course, that source is from last month so there's bound to be changes to that.
I think that someone should create an update/ICS prediction app, based on the Magic 8 Ball. You'd ask when something is coming out, shake the phone and you'd get answers like "Not Yet," "Next Quarter" and "Soon." Maybe have 2 answers, with the second being the source, like "2nd tier tech" or "website." Be about as accurate.

Cracks me up how we have people on the boards that go through this constant discussion.
1. Complain when the update can't get here fast enough.
2. Complain when the update gets released too quickly because it's buggy.
3. Can't wait for the next major version to get out.
4. Complain because the next major version can't get here fast enough.
5. Complain when the next major version gets released too quickly because it's buggy.
6. Complain when some tech said somewhere that the update was due out a month ago, but no update in sight.
7. Complain when the update that was supposed to be the ".xx5" build now gets release as the ".xx6" build.
As for me, I'm 95% happy with the phone - My gripes that I hope the .904 (or whatever build it will be) fixes:
1. Phone seems to be a bit sensitive to dropping 3G/4G altogether in a weak signal area, and then takes a while to regain data.
2. Battery life seems quite variable - somedays little use will give me 70% by the end of the day, sometimes it's only 30%.

Yes, I can never say that we like to complain. That's because we LOVE to complain.
There is no rhyme or reason to Moto/VZW's update schedule. Soak tests have started on Sunday, OTAs have been pushed over the weekend. You just never know. I kind of figured you were just assuming, but since it's always possible that someone heard something somewhere, I figured i'd make sure.
Usually, prior to a soak test actually starting they send out an email with a link to the private forum. Since no one has reported getting this email, I am going to assume that we're dealing with typical VZW/Moto BS of being late with everything.
Then again, that chart is supposed to be for VZW employees only, and is not all that useful to us since it probably changes weekly.
I'd just hate to work at VZW, these things probably confuse them as well.

It's the society we live in, when we hear something is going to be released on a certain day, we expect it to happen. It's like for people at work that have to meet a deadline for the customer, we expect Motorola to have the same respect for us. Really they do have that respect, they're watching over us, we're like children who cry when a sibling seems to get more attention.

It's kinda like the monthly bills that we owe the cell phone companies. They expect us to pay by a certain date. I wonder how long we would be able to get by with "We're sorry. Due to technical difficulties, we are unable to make our payment as was previously scheduled. However, you can expect the payment in the near future." I doubt that would fly to long for us. :icon_evil:
