Are you guys running everything out of the box? ie. kernel that comes with ROM etc?

Yes. Your stock kernel. I usually will flash Lean Kernel but Buck's has been awesome on the 4/28 build.

I did no issues, can't say yet if it's better. Though it does seem I have more battery than I would normally have at this time of day.

Yes, after a couple of hours nothing to report yet. I'll run thru at least one battery charge cycle and see what happens. What was your intent on the kernel tweak?

Testing now. I've been trying to enable data=writeback mode but it seems data=ordered is enabled in the kernel, at least in previous versions, haven't tried this one yet. I was going to look thru the kernel to see if I could find a way to change it.

What are you trying to gain by doing this? Just a forewarning it may end up causing your data partition to read only as changing the journaling in Linux does this. Particularly to the root partition.
