What Rom are you running and what values do you think aren't changing?

"To verify that the zip was applied successfully, you can run this command from Terminal Emulator:

    To check cron:
    pgrep -f crond
If you get a number, then you're all good.

    To check sysctl:
    sysctl -a | grep vm
Should be the same values as below."

    Running Darkslide v4.2(blurless).
When I type the line that's up there nothing comes up for cron, no numbers, and for sysctl the only thing I saw that resembled what I changed was the number 4096 at the bottom of the text directly above the two normal denied permissions. Unless that's normal for the DX, all of this confuses my small mind :p.

edit: I typed su first if that matters, didn't change with and without it.

Hmm I didn't test the new version with darkslide. Just assumed it would work. Wanna try the previous version?

The ones I included in my thread are for liberty only. Imoseyon has one for dark on his site.

Oh I bet that's it. Do not use liberty version for darkslide. ;)

already flashed liberty back because I missed it :p I'm sorry. only reason I went to darkslide was because I wanted hdmi but it's only a luxury so meh, I'll flash the zip tomorrow and I'm sure it'll work great, thanks for your work :D.

edit: read rom agnostic but I guess I skimmed through, my apologies.

I executed your backup.sh and it didn't create a folder imoseyon on my sdcard or anything. Also I checked the tmp folder for the purge logs nothing is there. Pgrep -f crond is giving me a number. What's the problem?

The problem might be that something went awry! ;)

What version of the zip do you have installed? Also you may have to give it 24 hours before the log shows up.
