Kap got rid of his "big game" jitters early and good thing too. After those few miscues, he was an absolute beast. Packers did fairly well on defense except for stopping the Niners biggest weapon, that 56yd run kinda summarized the night; an epic opening performance in his first playoffs and the struggle that the Packers had with such a player.

I admit I wanted Packers to win, but growing up as a Niners kid, I can't help but be happy either. The stadium was absolutely nuts. Some knuckleheaded stuff after the game in the parking lot, but overall classy showing by both fan bases. Great atmosphere, great game, and best of all, the team I once rooted for is finally back to winning.:hail:

I watched a different game... the game I watched the packers played pathetic defense giving up college type numbers... 300+ yards rushing allowed and 4 rushing touchdowns... that's just horrible but no ones surprised with them getting ran all over on... happened with the Vikings and they only had 1 rushing threat... they definitely need some run stoppers... outside of that they're a solid team

Their defense was terrible second half, but now that I'm rested and reflected on the game their defense was pretty pathetic after the opening drive. The difference between the vikings they played and the Niners was insane. After the first half I was pretty surprised to seem that the game was that close considering SF racked up 300+ total yds already. After that things got out of hand for GB fast.

The Packers were giving me a scare. I swore we lost the game after kap threw that pick 6. He looked nervous and on the other side was super bowl winning qb who spent hours career as a backup behind Brett Favre. I tell you this I don't want to face Seattle next round. They have our number and beat us badly twice. The first game showed w for niners but if the Seattle wr brought their hands it would have been a w for Seattle.

It was a great game the first half, then Niners decided to kick it into another gear the second half. Once Kap threw that pick 6 those jitters were gone. I didn't even look at the numbers til this morning and I had no idea the night he had and what I had witnessed. The guy is really something else and definitely a special player, I can see why Smith lost his job to him, the guy just has all the intangibles. Something real special started in SF last year and it's even more amazing this year.

Every single Niner fan in the stadium is rooting for ATL (and they looking pretty good right now). They all know Seattle has the Niners number and they're a really hot team right now too. I wouldn't count ATL as an "easy" win either, they might've slowed down a bit, but they still have a pretty good complete team.

MB, Seattle just looks tired. The back to back road games traveling to the east coast along with the playoff like games they had against Frisco and STL just to get in the playoffs. They still a sleep. Watch come 2nd half their bodies will be awake and you will see a different seattle team.

I guess we'll see. They've always played tired when a 1pm eastern start. Just like Atlanta can't win a playoff game monkey on their back as well.
I read something this morning I found interesting. This is the first game the entire season Atlanta has played against a team that eventually made the playoffs.
Didn't San Fran stay the week on the east coast the week they played the Patriots? I always wonder why since Seattle has always sucked at 1pm why they don't try something different like that, maybe show up a day early or something.

the Vikings could've won that game.. it was real close at one point.. but Joe Webb is far from a starter
