as of now, this app doesn't work with froyo, however for us droid x users, it is worth the buck even if it is just for a few months... we pay WAY more than that for cellular data xD

this app does/did work with froyo. i just used it to root my droid 1 running the leaked froyo update yesterday.

I just bought easy tether yesterday and I had problems getting it from the market so I went online and was able to get it that way. Is there personal security issues with it that I should be concerned with?

Last I heard Easy Root has been pulled from the Market.

Well, there's some talk going around that perhaps it was based on dmupdater and Google pulled it because of that.

I think that is when you go out on a blind date and DUMP them before the date is over..

DM UPdater can be found via a quick google search.
