Thanks, it looks like the right file name. And it may be just a quick patch.

Likely so. I found an older version of a 901>902 on rootzwiki at

Proof 5.9.902 exists, invalid update file - RootzWiki

with a mediafire link to

Blur_Version.5.9.901.XT875.Verizon.en.US.zip - from 901 to 902 size: 23014KB
md5: bc1abf4a451961ab1738845f1f61e6e1

and FantomPhlasher's #38 post file is

Blur_Version.5.9.901.XT875.Verizon.en.US.zip - from 901 to 902 size: 23082KB
md5: 81aa48ea8d67b830a11ff727e6da284f

Slightly different but if the second on works on 901, excellent.

I was an 901 OTA back last 19 Dec. Here's my Dropbox link to the 22.5 M OTA file I received tonight.

Let us know how it works as my 901 is working great and I don't really want to break what's not broken.

Looks like this is the winner, applied it in stock recovery no problem, md5 is 81aa48ea8d67b830a11ff727e6da284f

I also retained root. Thanks for posting that.

Okay, so I've sifted through all of the posts a few times, and I basically learned that:

1) Since I did not OTA update to .901 but manually installed it, I'm probably not going to get the OTA to .902. I'll check my phone in the morning to confirm.

2) FantomPhlasher's .901 > .902 file is the OTA for .901 to .902, and NS218 confirmed that this file works, and that root is retained.

So, that means that you, NS218, are the official tester of the sideload .901 > .902 file to see if there is any major improvement over .901. I hope all goes well for you! Please report back after a while. Thanks!

Had anyone posted the 902 update for those of us on 901? So we can install it?

See post #38 in this thread. A few people have downloaded it and they're saying it works. I'm doing it right now as we speak. I'm holding my breath...
