But that does not mean that those who manually installed .901 will be able to do so.

I was an 901 OTA back last 19 Dec. Here's my Dropbox link to the 22.5 M OTA file I received tonight.

Let us know how it works as my 901 is working great and I don't really want to break what's not broken.

Thanks, it looks like the right file name. And it may be just a quick patch.

This is the official 902 ota update. It's meant to install over 893. It's a zip inside a zip in an attempt to keep the confusion on moto naming conventions down, lol. The inner zip is what you install. It likely will not upgrade 901 but will upgrade a 893 43v3rroot while keeping root.

I think this is spot on, and the big M is rolling out two updates, one for those on 901 and one for those on 892. I haven't tried updating yet, but I think the good files are

    Blur_Version.5.9.901.XT875.Verizon.en.US.zip - from 901 to 902 size: 23014KB
    md5: bc1abf4a451961ab1738845f1f61e6e1

    Blur_Version.5.5.893.XT875.Verizon.en.US.zip - 893 to 902 size: 58949KB
    md5: 7ae7e3d6e25bd19235107247ce57f825

EDIT: Ah, I see FantomPhlasher has given the 901>902 dropbox in post #38. Thanks again, Motorola, for your insane naming conventions.

Likely so. I found an older version of a 901>902 on rootzwiki at

Proof 5.9.902 exists, invalid update file - RootzWiki

    with a mediafire link to

    Blur_Version.5.9.901.XT875.Verizon.en.US.zip - from 901 to 902 size: 23014KB
    md5: bc1abf4a451961ab1738845f1f61e6e1

and FantomPhlasher's #38 post file is

    Blur_Version.5.9.901.XT875.Verizon.en.US.zip - from 901 to 902 size: 23082KB
    md5: 81aa48ea8d67b830a11ff727e6da284f

Slightly different but if the second on works on 901, excellent.

Looks like this is the winner, applied it in stock recovery no problem, md5 is 81aa48ea8d67b830a11ff727e6da284f

I also retained root. Thanks for posting that.

Were you rooted? With forever root? And did you keep root? Many have said yes, but enquiring minds want to know.
