I could be wrong, but from my knowledge, all Android phones use micro usb, so all are interchangeable. I have Moto, Samsung and HTC chargers and they all work for each of our phones. The connection plug looks different on each, but they still plug in and work for each phone.
The only thing I could see being different would be the charging voltage and amperage for the different batteries. I don't think there would be a problem pluging a moto car charger into the nexus to charge it, but I'm not entirely sure if you would end up damaging the battery in the nexus over time if the charging amperage from the moto plug didn't completely match up with the nexus' battery requirement.
