So, what is the First app everyone is going to install on their G-Nex???

My first thought was to get the Droid Forums app, but then I realized that once I finally get my Nexus, I won't have to be attached at the hip with the forum...at least for a while.

Seriously though: Titanium Backup, Root Explorer, Droid Forums, Pulse, and Fancy Widgets are my top priorities.

Well well well. So just got off the phone from my local corporate VZW store here's how it went down.

Me: Hey, so I have a question on some rumored releases this week and wanted to know if u could confirm anything.

VZW: Ok

Me: I have heard rumors you guys will be releasing a white razr, Droid 4 and a Galaxy Nexus all this week. Can you confirm if any of this is true?

VZW: Well we have the current Razr available but IDK anything about a white Razr. I have not heard anything on a Droid 4 and the Galaxy is coming soon but don't have a date yet.

Me: Ok, Motorola confirmed a white Razr this morning for Verizon so that's why I'm asking. (U could tell the manager was dumbfounded, yeah u just got owned woman lol)

VZW: That's news to me

Me: So on the Nexus, is there anyway it could still come out this week and you just don't know yet?

VZW: No if it was coming out this week I would have done known by now. (U could tell she was a lil mad now lol)

Me: Thanks that's all I needed.

So as u can see its the same O, she could be holding out on info so who knows. She didn't know anything about a white razr so I'm taking everything she says with a grain of salt. Take it for what its worth, I'm just the messenger boy

Well,
I just went up to Verizon today, my dad was getting the Rezound.
He doesn't like the looks of the GNex... and he don't need the new software or the unlockability.

Me on the other hand, Ive been waiting for this GNex for months.


But while I was there, two things happened.

1. I continually kept asking the Verizon Sales Associate about the Galaxy Nexus. In which he informed me that they haven't gotten any yet, and it most likely wont be released until next week.

2. After talking to him about it, I turned around, looked down, and there sat something that looked an awful lot like the GNex. SO I bend down, and sure enough, its a Silicon case for the Nexus. So I took a picture of it with my OG.

I then asked him "You guys already got cases and everything, yet the phone isn't coming out until next week? I seen some pictures of Verizon's system online showing a release date of December 9th" and his reply was "Yea I don't know, we haven't got the phone in yet, I think next week will be the release"

I just thought this was interesting. Hopefully and probably, the worker just didn't know anything about it yet....

From what I've read, this seems like the easiest way. Less chance for errors, in my opinion.

I don't want to post it cause he's a good friend of mine and I don't want to get in trouble. He says he should have an official release date by thursday, but if he knows sooner, he will let me know.
So the galaxy nexus's are coming!

To elaborate, find the pic, paste it or open it up in paint. Blackout the bad. Careful to not show rings or anything. Then prtscreen that into a seperate paint file (I paranoid what they can do with edited photographs now so making a new prtscreen is smarter). Save that, upload it here.

"We don't have any of that information right now."

Or,

"It will be released 'soon.'"

Or,

"We don't have any idea what you are talking about."

So which one of those above does the Vzw response qualify under?

Yup more waiting........no release date yet so ima buy myself a paintball gun to distract myself from this non release wich probably will be anounced on the 9th to be released a week later im over waitng..... Not over the nexus but just over the waiting
