i dont even think im going to look at the nexus first...i think im just going to do a blind trade for the rezound and enjoy the ride...

i know. its like, ill have that one. then i will not let the vzw rep touch it, even if its to activate it. Ill say, no get out... I know its your job, but its simple. i follow instructions as well. No way im letting someone touch my galaxy nexus before me. if they do find a way to get their hands on it, ill demand another one.

This is what I always do. If you watch them, they touch all over the sim and yank all over it trying to access small doors ..like my Razr the other day. My first one was all messed up and I know it was software and hardware issues with all the problems but seeing how the rep was practically using a pen for a pry bar I was really pissed and let him know I wasn't happy with how he was handling it and I didn't want it turned on until its completely charged..lol He said "I assure you I'm well trained" lol Um...Yeah. so when I got my new one nobody touched it but me in the store after letting it charge completely and he and the others said that I was the only person whom actually ever requested this..lol Anyway, they know I'm serious about products I purchase and like anything else I purchase, its mine and if anything happens you don't want me upset at anyone but myself. I am always in an excited yet mildly stressed mood when walking into a room of professional idiots. No offense but my store here gets nothing but complaints...They never know their products. But thank God I do.

cant preorder... wouldnt be able to use the vouchers from livingsocial. if its not in stock, 3 days after. then i will be really pissed. i hope the 9th is the preorder. never thought id hope the release would be delayed.

Are you 100% certain you can't use the voucher towards a preorder? I know the conditions on the voucher say it can only go towards the purchase of a device or accessories, but I thought that a preorder might fall under that category possibly.

Also, I've never preordered a phone from Verizon before, so I'm not really familiar with the process. If you preorder, can you pick up in-store or do you have to have it mailed to your house? Also, do you pay for the phone in full when you preorder?

i doubt they will even have a preorder. if they do announce a preorder tomorrow, then it will be for the next day. thats 2-3 days Max for the preorder. after reading alot about this, mostly from this thread, that does not sound long enough for a preorder

I think the voucher states it must be an instore purchase. I thought pre-orders were only doable on the web? This again assumes there will even be a pre-order.

Id love to activate the Nexus myself and not have any Verizon employee lay there hands on it. So i have a question if anyone can answer it; coming from a D1 how would i go about activating the Nexus myself? Number to call to activate the new phone? What do you do about the 4g activation?
