Sorry if its already been asked... but I installed the multi touch keyboard patch for rubix focussed. Everything is working fine but I don't have an option to turn speach to text. How can I install this feature on rubix?

Make sure you have google search, and voice search installed from market...

Alright sorry about that, I tried to use the search on this forum & just got a bunch of stuff that didn't have really anything to do with what I was looking for lol. Thanks for your help though

Well, I've had enough 'droid for tonight and it's charging via PC, just no "charge only" that I"m seeing so far. So I'll let it sit. Update if you get on to something and I'll update if I just can't take it any longer and SBF it. Dropbox works fine for now anyway. :blackdroid:

Just to update. I was out and about today, laptop in tow (and the "good" cable). I finally found the need to charge and plugged in to the laptop. *crickets*. No charge, no register . . .wtf? Ok, fine, not DYING for battery, will mess with it when I'm not at a client.

I get back to the office and take a closer look. Same thing. Try all ports. Same thing. So, I need another wall charger anyway, so go out and get a combo wall/usb charger cable. I plug THAT (just USB0 into the machine and "drooooooid". Ok, so it recognizes that, but same story with the Mass Storage mode, can't go into Charge Only.

I've also updated to 1.8.9 on the slim off chance by the way.

So apparently, it's great as long as I buy a new cable every day or so.

Sorry if this has been asked/answered already, but I noticed this version says 2.2.1/2.3.20, so my question is...can I revert back to my backup of what I had before I installed this ROM which was stock 2.2/2.3.15 or will I have to sbf 2.2/2.3.15? Or can I even revert back now? Reason I ask is with the leak of 2.3.320 out & the fact that you can't revert back to a previous version from that, this version is different than my previous so I wanna be sure before I botch it..lol. TIA

1.8.9, yes.... 1.9.3, NO!!!!!! but you would have to be on the leak first to install 1.9.3, so I'm assuming you're on 1.8.9

Good question. I assume you saw this after installing the 1.8.9 update.

*sigh*.. funny, but drod changed the line in build.prop that says what vzw version it's based from from 2.3.15, to 2.3.20, but didn't change the version number from 1.8.6 to 1.8.9, lol.

You don't have the leak in ANY way shape or form. The bootloader isn't changed, you're fine. You can sbf, you can load 2.2 ROMs, you are totally fine... as long as you have not loaded the leak!

This is one line in a text file (/system/build.prop).. you're totally fine, no need to panic!

ok! I may have captured the error message on Alog. If anyone remembers, I was experiencing crashing while synced to bluetooth playing music. Here is what the log said. Nope I tried turning it on and off and still nothing.
I restored it to the factory operating system anything else I need to remove form the phone if I am to be taking it into verizon?
It still isnt getting 3g service so I am just going to take it up to verizon I know I have to unroot the phone should I delte bootstrapper and all that stuff.
