Miui is amazing!

Been running miui for about 2 months now and i have got to say I love it! the new version is the fastest yet! Although i do get the occasional force close and the newest update caused my galley to magically add ever image on the SD card. I still love how fast and responsive this thing runs even with the transition effects when scrolling screens. its just down right amazing!

My latest quadrant score is 1726!! Running the standard voltage P3 1250 kernel.

You can long press the folders in the MIUI gallery and hide them

I did not know that either! That may be the thing that will make me change to using the miui gallery

Yeah, I prefer it over the 3D gallery a lot. That was probably the worst idea they could've came up with. Not looking forward to the 3D music player either. I'm in the process of getting the Droid 2 gallery apk though.

Only thing I don't like about the miui gallery is that when I go through pictures, some are only shown on about 1/4 of the screen. I can zoom in and have them take up the whole screen, but I would like them to default to full size when I go through them. But thanks for the tip about hiding folders!

Yeah the 3d gallery is gimmicky for sure..... WOW it tilts as you move the phone! I was thinking something a little more impressive when the 3D gallery hit. With me I get to a point where im content with what im using I dont like change!

And loads slooooooow. Usually I have to reboot for a downloaded pic to show up in the gallery. It's ridiculous. Haha yeah, I understand. But I like when the change is better

Dude, thank you! That app looks great! I tried an alternative gallery that everyone was raving about a while back and it was crap. This one looks really good

download SDrescan. Takes like 15 seconds and will allow recently added pictures to show up in the gallery.

Thanks, man. Could definitely use that. Much faster than rebooting every time. I hope I have space. If there's one thing I do hate about the Droid, the lack of space.

hey no problem...it should be a really small file size so you should be able to install it. Also if your not aware, check out Cache Cleaner. It cleans internal cache it usually frees up a decent amount of memory depending how much you use your phone. I have mine set so it cleans my phone up every night.

That's good! I had to delete apps earlier to install Swype. And yeah, I've been using that app for a while now. I have the NG version, not real sure what the difference is though.

You're welcome. I'm not a fan of the 3d gallery myself and stick to using Quickpic for the most part.
