This is exactly what happened when Cupcake came out for the G1...

Although by that time someone had gotten the .zip file and we were updating manually.

Not sure if there are any developers on here that know how to find where the file is downloading from or how to get the update.zip file.

That makes me wonder if its the geographical location of the phone or the geographical location of the originating phone number.

Many people have the same number they had when they lived on the other side of the country.

I wonder if they still plan for the Dec 11 update? are there any items unchecked on this update that were scheduled Dec 11th?

Would it be plausible that this update could be pushed via 'activation date' of the phone, or better yet, build #? There has to be some rhyme or reason. We've people in FL and CA getting this already.

BTW ... I'm in MA (New England). Nothing yet (4:07 PM EST)
