    Yes, you install the FRG22D master OTA update file. What's the purpose in going back? There may be another option so you don't lose all the neat new features.

    Using Motocache1's method still works on 83D and is a far superior option. However, like I said, all you need to do to get back to 22D is install the master OTA file.

    So I just got the OTA 2.2.1 update on my unrooted DX. Am I still ok to use z4root to root my phone?
