NEW DROID OTA UPDATE ALERT (still 2.1)

http://android.clients.google.com/updates/voles/signed-voles-ESE81-from-ESD56.fa406da6.zip is the original 2.1

http://android.clients.google.com/packages/voles/signed-voles-ota-29593.439b5590.zip is the "new" 2.1

see both are hosted on google's site... this may just be a flub by google/moto

Also note the difference in the file sizes....:icon_eek:

UPDATE: Got to 100% then said FAIL - sooooooo, maybe it will block. I just did a screen shot

Going to try again now

FAIL after 100% is what's supposed to happen... lol... i think the sbf actually worked for u

Good news! Even though RSD said FAIL, I had to sign into G Mail again, went back to the About Phone - and it was at 2.0.1 again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's certainly a "new" link from the horse's mouth (google/moto). that link was provided by google/motorola, not by a user... either way, i call "false alarm" until proven othewise
