Gallery with 3D layout. 3d LAYOUT. What does that really mean? One little thing might be in 3d. Like the rfame of the gallery. but not everything will be 3d. Again i'm not seeing a big deal here

Live wallpapers. Cool but, useless. No real function other than playing with them. You'll be tired of that in a day or 3 and none of your friends are going to want to see it for more than 8 seconds.

Google maps update. My google maps is fine but I guess an update coldnt hurt. They could send that out on its own now though so I dont get it. My google maps updates like once a week.

Improved pattern lock functionaliyt but AFAIK its still perfectly UNsecure. It is NOT a lock. Not at all not even close, unless I miss something. Cant you just call the phone and hit back to get around the lock?

Improved handset audio with a WIRED headset. yaeh.. Let's go back to wires. Wires are cool. Ufck mobility.

So yeah, I'm shytting on the 2.1 update. Sorry. It's jsut laughable. they put all this crap together that they can jsut release seperately and hope you wont notice flash isnt in there :icon_evil::icon_evil: grrrr

Sorry. I'm trying to edit my post and I acn't figure that out too. Shows you how smart I is. I wanted to see if flash was coming out or anything truly useful. I have to admit anything 3D on my phone owuld be cool, I'm just wonedring how much content is really going to be 3D. And YES I will be all over the live wallpaper too. but I know how I am and I'll be done with that in 3 days or so. I mean its cool but.. I guess I'm just getting old. I jsut want flash and a hulu app for the office and pron and I'll be happy.

Besides, when Flash does become available, it will most likely be a download from Market.... Flash is not due until sometime later this year anyway.

You haven't seen the 3d gallery? its freaking beast. its 10000x better than 2.0.1. download the apk and try it out. you dont have to root. this update isnt as worth while as we think it may be. but i just want to have the latest and the stock. and after that "milking the cow" and "the milk" might be better because its made off of a newer, faster cow

Yes but it is not optimized for it, it is laggy as hell, I want an official version that is smooth as butter and works in other areas VS just browser!

Sorry, but I travel a lot and want to know up to minute weather and have it be able to update without me doing a thing, I like knowing what is going on with the world and think more people shoud also care!

YES REALLY, sometimes when your all grown up and working there are times when you need to have a text to speech function VS typing it out which is faster! So yes looking forward to that!

It means three diminsional, The layout of the gallery is way more user friendly and looks good! Just so you know this is not like avatar and your pictures will not jump off your Droid even with the cool glasses! Yes I have used it and want the official version!

Some people who are out of highschool have a yahoo account or two, I have had one for so many years that changing it up now would be a huge undertaking to switch everything over. I am slowly switching over things to my google account. Yahho accounts are fine and have worked great over the many years I have had them!

I may be mistaken but that maybe one of the fix issues. Also you have to KNOW the number to call to do the whole deal to steal info so it kinda limits the suspect pool!

This isnt just for the headset, it is also for the 3.5mm jack that people use to play music over the radio, so this will be a HUGE fix for the people that use the Droid as their main Mp3 player in the car.

Why, they dont have to realease crap after you bought the phone, I have had 0 updates on any of the other phones I have had over the years, the Droid has already had one and now we are getting a whole makeover of the OS in less than 6 months??? If you have noticed flash was never supposed to be included or released with 2.1, as SEVERAL people have said it is ADOBE mot VERIZON or MOTOROLA! Adobe also said it wouldnt be released until later this year anyway, so people getting all upset about flash is like people getting upset because GM hasnt released the volt even though it's slated for a 2011 release!!!:icon_evil:
