Haha! Well.. it's definitely possibly, but I don't think Phandroid would post it if was more than likely fake. But who knows, people make mistakes. Personally right now, I'm expecting a 12/15 release just so it seems more likely it will come out the 9th. Which I guess means I'm expecting it to come out the 9th.. which in that case it won't come out the 9th or the 15th! Uh..

I think its coming out on the 9th. With 2 seperate pics of the retail packaging and a on order list for Best Buy it has to be the 9th.

Love the Boondocks, but that's another topic.

I'm not saying Dec. 9th doesn't mean a release, but I'm not going to get my hopes up. Hopefully we have some confirmation by Wednesday if it is released Friday, if not, just be another day to mark off the calendar.

I see photos of lots of Nexus boxes on shelves, unless they plan on holding them for another 9 days, I'd say we see it Friday.

But I'm sure they'll figure out a way to push it back, kind of the tone since this started heh.

So with probably no preorder and these stores getting the nexii in large quantities this early in the week I'd say 9th is looking good. Announce the phone on the 8th release on 9th. That's some damn good press for your average consumer. Makes Verizon look like a God in the average consumer's eyes.

Id 15 phones really a lot though? that doesn't seem like a lot of stock to me. :frown:

If they really get 15 phones, and people in the area know its coming out its going to be sold out quickly.. Im getting up early on thursday and friday and going to the verizon store first thing in the morning to make sure I get my nexus if it does release.

I know, idk, i think i might seriously have to wake up at like 5 just to ease my mind. They open at 9or 10 here. unless they open early on new release days.

So when you boot up the phone there is that little button at the bottom that you can tap to unlock the boot loader. I am assuming this voids your warranty. Can you root without unlocking the boot loader?
