A 12/15 release would be stupid, most people are done shopping for the holidays by then. It would leave 9 days before Christmas, now I'm no mathematician but I think you'd sell more units in 15 days than in 9.

Or vzw doesn't care too much about the Nexus. Worst case, maybe they're gonna scrap it all together? I'd really hate to say that, but who knows...I'm not in any dire need for a new phone, but it'd be nice, and frankly, if the current and coming Moto phones were unlocked, I'd get a D4 probably....probably....maybe....

I can't imagine this phone not coming out this week... Next week is getting pretty deep into christmas shopping. But then again I'm being disturbingly hopeful that this comes out so I can drive over my droid with my car.

Considering the amount of money they probably sank into debugging the silly thing and also making themselves the "exclusive" USA supplier of the phone, to then not release it would be crazy for them - regardless of whatever hype/lack there of the galaxy nexus has

Ok, I just called a corporate verizon store that's kind of ghetto. The reps there are cool and I know that if they knew something they would say it. This is how the conversation went:

Me: Hi, I have an upgrade available on one of my three lines but I'm waiting for the new samsung nexus. Would it be out by the end of the week?

Her: It's been delayed for mid-month but we don't have a specific date yet.

Me: OK thanks see you then.

I'm at peace now knowing this device won't come out this week. Believe me, I know this corporate store very well and I know if they knew it was coming out this week they would have told me (they are cool like that) ... Of course, anything can happen but I doubt it!

If nexus doesn't release this week? Well.... Everybody Hurts/REM on medium to loud volume, go to the corner of my room, coil up into the fetal position and just ball. I might be naked...I might also have a bottle of jack daniels at the ready. After REM its heavy metal which I will then get up and start destruction. After this phase if I haven't nocked myself out from a reflected throw off the walls with my stack of golf balls then I will enter the almost last phase which is playing just classical music and jazz while rocking back and fourth in the sitting position. Again possibly naked. After the crazy phase since mozart and the cello suits usually makes me fall asleep I will be back in my current logical stage. When I hit this phase I will probably stand up, start saying wtf am I doing and then I would go to droidforums.net and post my frustations on the nexus not releasing. Now that you know my process, I will happily act like this text never happened (until one of you replys to it ) and when the time comes this Friday to see if the nexus has released or not then I hope you will be thinking of me, ilikemoneygreen, because I'm that amazing and everyone should just write a letter to the president of VZ because it goes to show that these uninformed releases are turning regular people crazy. Only then will we hopefully ever see a response from them. That's a plan guys. Was this sarcastic at all??? Hmmm maybe a tad. lol. And yes I know I had a couple runon sentences but I'm typing on a d1 keyboard so naturally I'm not going to take time on grammer and sentence flow. The end.
