lol I'm sorry, normally I wouldn't be so negative. But I am half joking around because I am getting tired of this whole situation/getting bonkers, and half serious in order to take some of the pain away from me and you all by not expecting it too much....

Haha I know but I'm right there with ya. This is completely ridiculous. I feel like all my optimism has run out and being negative/realistic is the only thing that makes it better. No chance of letdowns.

From the reports of people who went into the Samsung store, it appears that they pulled it not because of bugs, but because Verizon doesn't want it out to play with there before it's officially announced. That's why some people are denying it was ever there at all.

I have been sitting on my last NE2, waiting for the Nexus. I can only hope for a soon release. My OG Droid has been faithful, running well and made calls today ....
Until I just took it out my pocket and it had a black screen! Tried the power button but it wouldn't boot! On the charger and still no boot. Pulled battery - voltage between pins is 3.2 . Says it should be 3.7v. I can order a battery and will, just so I can use the phone on WiFi later but I want to buy a Nexus! No phone for a few days.

At this point, I feel like the only way we're gonna know about it being in stores is by somebody happening to be in the actual store on the day of release.

Verizon: "Shhh. That's because we didn't tell anyone. Nobody can know...............................ever."

Are accessories for the Nexus available to purchase in the stores? I was thinking about going in tonight to purchase the bundled case and screen protectors and dropping my name so I can try to get them to "hold" one for me on Friday since I gotta work.

It's a contest. First person to find out the Nexus is released in store by casually going to the front desk and saying, "Hello, I'd like to purchase the Galaxy Nexus, please" wins, and that's when they'll start advertising it.
