Not funny, UNLESS the D4 has some Nexus like qualities...unlocked, removable battery, ease of rooting, a slightly better display than the Razr, and maybe one or two other things...I do like having a physical keyboard. Sometimes the virtual keyboards piss me off and frustrate me something fierce. I really like Motorola build quality. I may be on my third D1, but I can't blame the first two for any failures on Moto's part(phones aren't bullet proof). :icon_eek:

not a bad sign. not bad at all. This means its close but tbh, this cant show a timeline....the razr was in that like a whole month before it launched, same for the moto tablets xyborg or whatever they are calling them.

I've been saying this for a while now. They know how big a hit the gnex will be and probably would not sell many razrs and rezounds if gnex was launched near them. Also by not giving a date, some may give up waiting, buy one of those two and be stuck paying full price. It's a win win for them.

Hey guys, IMO the only reason for the delay is the rezound and the razr! They have to get thief money for these phones and pass the majority of the 14 day return policy. I blame 100% Verizon for the hold up.

As far as I truly know, the 8th is only good for another leaked/rumored release date for the following week.

I don't think it will be the 8th. That's 6 days from now. They did the razr's preorder like 10days before...

I'll give it to Christmas as well. If not out, I'll get the 4S. I'm not thrilled about other android phones. I have the Thunderbolt so the rezound is not an option

Why do u all insist there is going to be a preorder??? I thank u all need to get it out of ur heads. The Rezound didn't have a preorder and had very little media, announcements, commercials, advertising, etc etc etc. The Rezound basically came out un-announced. What makes you guys keep thankin the GN is gonna have a preorder? Just cause the phone is hot to us doesn't mean VZW does, to them its just another phone. Look how much advertising was done with the Tbolt, yeah first 4G phone but its predecessor had pratically no launch at all.

The Rezound didn't have a preorder and had very little media, announcements, commercials, advertising, etc etc etc. The Rezound basically came out un-announced. What's with all the negativity. Just get your hopes up for dec 8. If it comes out then great. If it doesn't,so what, we've gone through dissapearing release dates before.

1 more thing. There are no rumored release dates besides dec 8. Dec11 is the only one hear and that is only 3 days after. Maybe if we heard a rumor for the 15th then id be scared, but we have not.

A Nexus phone without preorder??? Remember this is google's baby that comes out once a year. There's a big community for this phone

Not being negative or scared ... just thinking out loud. If it does indeed turn out to be the 8th GREAT! I know there are no 15th rumor dates - just was just an off the cuff thought on my part. Hell, even if it did turn out to be the 15th, whats an extra week at this point?! We've waited this long lol
