Personally I'm just hoping Costco has it (in decent qty) on launch day.

Not sure how accurate but my local Costco wireless guy says they will not have it in (Costco) stores and will be sold online only. He also says that could change after initial release but that part was very vague.

Well it looks like p3 got a update to 4.1. Says it has a new radio and a screensaver mode. He says everyone else will have it when its released by TBH. Can't wait!!

And now there is a Rumor floating around that Best Buy isn't even getting the GNex until Dec 11th, and that is just their "in stock" date, not the actual sell date. So it could be Later???

All these Rumors are worrying me. I need a new phone, my OG droid is limping bad.
If this phone does not come out before Christmas, im screwed. Not because I can't wait, but because after Christmas I wont be able to buy myself a phone. Ill probably be broke.

Lets hope this Dec 8th Rumor pulls through... Although its not looking good. Less than a week away and no word about it yet.
Also I work on the 8th from 7am until 4pm. And by the time I make it to a verizon store all the lovely GNex's would probably be sold out. So here is to hoping that they are gonna open up a pre-order soon

I have some information for you guys regarding the release. As I've stated far too many times, my spouse is a rep with VZW and is involved in many more responsibilities than your run-of-the-mill-know-nothing corporate rep. Because of his strong sales, he was selected to attend a roundtable discussion this week with Jerry Fountain, a high up manager with Verizon. The purpose of the meeting isn't important, but knowing who Jerry Fountain is is important. Jerry is the President of the Tennessee/Carolinas region (which is our region - we live in N.C.) and has some serious clout within Verizon.

In the meeting today, Jerry was discussing the holiday season and sales. He was on the topic of the very good 4G phones available on Verizon and said the best is yet to come. He was referencing the Galaxy Nexus. Then, he announced to those in attendance that the Nexus is slated for a December 8th launch in all locations and that the date is pretty solid at this point.

Again, I post information simply to inform - take it for what you want. But when I hear a Regional President of Verizon say something like this to a small group of employees hand-chosen by their managers due to their sales success within the company, I take it as a pretty good "source."

Graduate school helps a lot with grammar (thanks for your compliment!), though I've always enjoyed writing :). (sorry, off-topic...) Just sharing information. I don't presume to think anyone has to believe this - but I learned of it today and thought, well, I might as well share it with you all.

Return policy isn't for used phones. It's for christmas gift returned not used phones.
Lol, yea....no. you could essentially rent the Razr right now you just would have to pay the $30 restocking fee after you bought it one the nexus comes out. You really could ask a rep about this so your informed by a more official source, nothing more solid then from tz itself..
