but i cant use the new facebook withthe chat and pushed notifications. any way i can change that?
and the new market as well?

What do you mean? Are push notifications not working or are you unable to update to the newest version of the Facebook app?

i am unable to update to the newest version of the app. it says installation unsucessful. each time it tries to have me manually update it

Use Titanium backup or root manager to remove the facebook app. THen wipe cache in recovery, then reboot, then try to install the facebook app from market. See if that helps.

i went to titanium backup and removed the app. then it rebooted into recovery on its own and i wiped cache. when the phone rebooted after that the facebook app was still there and still installation unsucesfull
