I am currently running the CM7 that jackpot last put up that is based on the froyo kernel (I think it was 808). I am going to update to the new one (902) tonight after i sbf to 387, then root then install TBH gingerbread (then apply the most recent CM7 from jackpot [after wiping the data files]). At that point, can I flash the data backup I just made from the froyo based CM7 I am currently running?

yep that's fine, just make you wipe everything including the system along with the data and cache. after you install the new zip, you can do an advanced restore where you pick out your old build's date and choose to restore the data

Thanks! Everything worked great. This build is really solid.
I swear Motorola jacked with the audio cuz on THBGB it sounds booomy and chitty as compared to CM7 with DSPManager. Sweet.Ok, what the hell did I just do wrong? I went back into CWM to restore my data from my previous 825 CM7 backup and now when I try to login to my google account I'm getting the dreaded "Slide keyboard open to continue." What the hell? I have restored that data before and it worked just fine. Jackpot! help!!

So far so good. A little low on battery life I think but won't get an accurate number for another few days.
Have had a FC or 2 but can't remember exactly what.
I'm having a problem with WIFI not connecting. It finds our router and accepts the password but never fully connects. Just loops.
Also, the onscreen keyboard. I try to disable the android keyboard but when I do I get 2 force close messages. But at least the keyboard no longer comes up. That is, until I reboot.
So its a bit of a nuisance.
But yeah, other then wifi and the keyboard I seem to have little problems.
Maybe someone can pm me some tips about clocking. Maybe the settings I found in cm7 can help with the battery life?

My wifi was acting the same way, network connectivity but not internet. I rebooted a few times and it seems to be working fine now. Keybaord still pops up sometimes when I touch the screen in a text field even tho I disabled it.
