Gonna build cyanogenmod 7 for the pro

okay I'm uploading now, you don't need to sbf or anything like that, only do this if you're coming from the gingerbread kernel! if you don't know if you do, if the motorola boot logo for your phone is red then use this! if it's still white then do not!

just reboot into clockwork, choose install zip from sdcard, and choose 902.zip. after it installs, you can go into advanced and wipe dalvik cache, and after that's done, wipe the regular cache. there will be no need to reinstall gapps. I've discovered that the updates merge quite nicely with the system you already have on the phone so there is no need to wipe the system beforehand. just choose zip from sdcard and install and wipe the two caches

the md5sum for the build 802.zip is d328d5d72208703c888714c5b5be26b5

download here: enjoy! sorry i forgot you guys didn't have a working camera or video or I would have published a working build sooner!

This works great!
I have only a problem: after 3h of intense use in gsm mode, seems that I'm not registred at my carrier.. I tried to reselect manualy my carrier but, seems that there isn't any network coverage.. The phone has not even asked for the pin after reboot..

I have downgrade from clockworkmod backup in TBH GB, and reflashed the 902.. now network works, I hope that the phone won't do the same joke again..

Again the same problem: wipe data to fix it.. Now I don't install anything, and I try to no use wifi, I'll see if the problem will recur..

Seems that without using wifi I have not this network problem..

After a reboot the phone now won't register to my carrier :(

Antoher thing: is possible to edit the function of the lateral button?

Does anybody here know how to change the dock background? Searches are giving me no results.
Can I switch to using launcher pro?

What about the lockscreen? Has anyone been successful in changing the rotary background and colors.

Yes, you can install and use the launcher that you prefer.
For the lockscreen go to system, CyanogenMod, Lockscreen. there I think that you can change what you want.

If you use another keyboard, you can disable the standard kb with titanium, or anttek app manager.
I have the same issue with wifi.
Sometimes the camera crash and I must reboot.
The bluetooth is ok.
For the battery life i suggest, after a full charge, to delete batterystat.bin. Search with google.

Great Rom!

Just wanted to say, the tip to delete batterystat.bin worked wonders. Thanks a lot for that.

But others news?
Anyone understand the wifi issue?
Because it's very strange!
Sometimes I've also a data issue...

Thank you!

I need a little help getting up to speed. I've been following this port on the xda forum not realizing the real action was over here!
I have 808 running on my Pro but I'm not sure what the safest way is to update to 902.zip
Should I use clockworkmod to update to TBHgb then update to 902? Or is a sbf needed to get me there?
Thanks

If you are already on a GB-kernel CM build, you don't have to SBF or go back to anything else in order to use 902. Basically, if you are running a GB kernel CM, press hold power, choose reboot and
just reboot into clockwork, choose install zip from sdcard, and choose 902.zip. after it installs, you can go into advanced and wipe dalvik cache, and after that's done, wipe the regular cache. there will be no need to reinstall gapps. But just in case, make sure that you read Clavins excellent, step-by-step directions here: Cyanogenmod For Droid Pro

On a different note, after I posted of my troubles back on Sep 9th regarding having to SBF, I managed to get 902 back up and running early on the morning of Sep 10 around 2am and even managed to get over 2 days and 6 hours of battery life. Needless to say, wifi worked flawlessly but this afternoon, I plugged the charger back in to rejuice my pro and lo and behold, when I unplug at 100%, my wifi is again useless. I have a solid wifi connection, I have a good IP, sub, gate, dns and can't get any connectivity outside the local network. wifi is broken again after charging the phone. what the hell??? I reboot, try airplane mode, try setting all ip, sub, gate, dns, values as static and nothing. Local network connectivity between laptop/phone is just fine but unable to browse, no market.

I may have to leave CM for good, for a while at least, which I really don't want to do. Help me!!! Please!!!!

Thanks,
Wifi-Less

Update: After rebooting umpteen times...I have working wifi! Icon is now green and I have internet connectivity not just local network connectivity. No idea what I did to fix it besides rebooting like 40 million times.

It is always ok?
Now i'm trying deleting the wpa_supplicant.conf ...

Ok! My wifi before give me error, and so i've (with wifi off)

1) deleted wpa_supplicant.conf (BackUp before!)
2) disabled data and changed band from gsm to gsm/wcdma
3) set fixed ip on my wifi, (go to advanced)
4) rebooted

Now my wifi it's on and connected!
Now i'm testing...
Remember you can't save your settings, if your wifi is on!

Again my wifi is ko..
1) disabled data
2) rebooted
3) renabled data
3) wifi is ok!!

Ok...
If you have any trouble with your wifi, I've seen if you disable data before you can use without trouble.
And so:
Disable data
Enable wifi
Surf
Disable wifi
Enable data
Surf...
If your wifi died, disable data, reboot and then use your wifi with data disabled... then renable data, after disabled wifi...
For saving your settings, disable your wifi before.
If your data don't connect during charge, disable your charger...
Post you experience, please!
But are you died? Anyone post?
Bye, bye!

I don't have this issue... But it isn't a big issue...

The whole wifi thing simply does not work. Odd that it works for some but not for others though.
But who knows what exactly causes it.

And I also can not see "About Phone" I get the same FC when tapping it.
