Don't do that. Once you're in recovery, wipe data and cache. Then try to boot again.

i already did that sir....but it wont work....please help.....what should i do gsu_golfer....thank you..

SBF (get to bootloader by holding power + both volume keys), reboot. If it hangs at the M logo again or boot loops, then go into recovery and wipe data.

Okay, just flashed the new build. Setting things back up now. I ran into a problem with my data not working at first, but after a couple tries of manually inputting the APN, it worked. Will post more bugs if I come across them.

thanks it works...:)

how can i install the new build of cm7??

any suggestions after i flash it with sbf?..thanks..

At this moment I am back on TBH GB.

Battery life: I was able to get about 22hrs of battery with somewhat minimal use and not leaving wifi on like with GB.

I was able to restore data from a previous CM nandroid back when I installed 628E release and was able to use alternate keyboards that I had installed at that time on this latest CM.

I seem to still have some bugs on the latest CM where changes won't take effect until after a reboot. Also, brightness settings get screwy after a while. I always use the CurveFish widget to choose between two settings, 25% brightness for most of the time and Auto brightness for when I am outside in the bright sun. For some reason, brightness keeps setting itself to 50% and will not change to any other value. I can change it but then it goes right back like within 2 seconds. Weird.

Anyway, now that I have created a Nandroid backup of the latest CM, I can switch back and forth between it and TBH just using a quick restore. Nice. Look forward to newer releases to keep testing. Peace.

Where'd you download 828E? (I'm assuming you meant 828E and not 628E). I can only seem to find 825 on Clavin's Blog.

Thanks

Can I flash from my 808 build that I am currently running to a nandroid backup I made of my TBH GB install? That would make things a lot easier for me. I remember there were supposed to be some issues with restoring between froyo and gb, and I don't want to brick things.

Thanks

Jackpot:

I put the newest build on my phone yesterday and figured I would add my comments about a few bugs.

1. Bluetooth still doesnt work. I can hear them, they cant hear me.

2. Battery increments are only by 10% - not really a bug, more of a convenience thing...every 1% would be sweet.

3. Word Suggestions lag quite a bit as mentioned by a few other folks. Works more like a spell check rather than suggestions. Also, I believe someone else mentioned that there is an odd white line at the bottom of the screen when typing. I can confirm I have this problem as well.

4. Camera and Camcorder dont work, but I think you already know that one.

Other than those few things, it seems to be running great. Will update my list as I play around with it some more and will comment on the battery life (it seemed pretty good last night, but I wasnt using it much).

EDIT: So the battery life on this build is AMAZING!! With moderate use (phone calls, texts, a little web browsing, and some games), I am getting almost 20 hours of battery life (knocking on wood that it stays that way). Also, it seems that in this build, the proximity sensor is now working - always a nice plus. Lastly, phone phone seems to be running a lot cooler (temperature wise) - the battery temp almost never gets north of 90 degrees and the idle temp is below 80 degrees. Thats significantly less than previous CM builds (at least 10-15 degrees). All in all, this build is fantastic and I'm looking forward to future updates to fix a few of the small issues.
Thanks for all the great work Jackpot....I cant believe just a few months ago I was running stock froyo and now I have CM7!! dancedroid

I'm pretty sure he did mean 628E, since he said he restored from it, not to it.

As for me, I had a problem with the Android Keyboard force closing every time I tried to search in the market. Solved the problem by going into settings and disabling the android keyboard. I'm assuming this means I won't have a landscape keyboard. It doesn't really matter to me since I never type in landscape mode on this phone (the portrait keyboard is the entire reason I bought this thing), but other people might care.

I'm still restoring various settings and stuff, so I'll update if I notice anything else.

Thanks for pointing that out. Are you running 825?

No, I meant 628E. That was the last time that I had tried CM. Back when it was still froyo based. The latest release is 825 which is now gb-kerrnel based.
