Gonna build cyanogenmod 7 for the pro

Peeps, please remember, the bugs I have listed are bugs that I AM experiencing. Might not happen to everyone. Also, remember this is a work in progress and a ton of progress has been made. Thanks Jackpot.
 
Hi,

So now I have root on my Gingerbread. The problem is when I installed Droid X bootstrap, and rebooted, it just hung with a blank screen right after the red "M" logo comes up. I tried both the Droid X Bootstrapper version on the market and the one downloaded from Koush's homepage.

I wonder what did I do wrong...

I tried DroidX because it worked in 2.6.60 but not after that. I'm just posting here so other people will not step on my mistake again.
 
Well thanks for informing others! Nobody likes to sbf! Anyways I talked to a guy on another thread by the name of RevNumbers and he was nice enough to lend me a hand in getting much of the media working (camera actually taking pictures and camcorder actually taking video) youtube works on both the browser and on the youtube app, and netflix works also. I'll post it after I fix other bugs that have arisen since we switched over to the to the newer kernel :)

I have gotten up to the part where the new way to root gingerbread is used; however, the stupid drivers wont install so the root program never gets past "Searching for phone"....can someone post/link the drivers they used?

EDIT: Nevermind. I got it figured out.

guys..i need your help....can someone help me.....im stuck in the motorola icon at the start up..please...i already have the cm7 kernel 2.2.6 but when i update it with the latest kernel, i got stack in the motorola logo...please help...i need to figure how and how can i return it and have the latest update..thanks to all..hope somebody can help me...please..thanks..
