sorry for the delay guys, the word suggestions kept force closing on me when i held vertically so i couldn't publish that. anyways, the good news is that the boot sound worked fine, and even better news is that a developer who goes by the name cvpcs (who made everything possible for us regarding cyanogenmod for the droid pro) was able to boot cyanogenmod from the gingerbread kernel (the radio file) on his droid x. what this means is that instead of the ancient kernel that our phones use which is from around november, there is hope for booting cyanogenmod from our gingerbread kernels or maybe the newer froyo one (3.7.8) instead of the much older 2.26.60 kernel. these newer kernels should bring us better battery life and better cell reception with the phone as motorola seemed to get their **** together with the droid pro with the 3.8.7 build and it should only get better if we advance to gingerbread
i will wait until everything goes official with the new files which make gingerbread bootable for the droid x and will try to incorporate them into our builds ASAP because you know i want this as badly as you all do
