808 installed and blazing fast. I am one of the unlucky ones who is having trouble switching between wifi and 3g, I have to reboot after turning 3g back on in order to establish connectivity. Other than that, having loads of fun setting up my phone again. I do have one question: is it ok to uninstall some stock apps? I never use News & Weather, Browser, Email or Clock. Would using tibu to uninstall them wreck updating?

yes you can- I did ,BUT dont delete'em buy the titanium backup app and freeze them,,, that way they are there in case something happens,I went in and froze several ,I think including my few things, now I only have 110 items to backup on cyanogen and with regular gingerbread even after I froze the bloatware I had 235 items in titanium backup,so this cyanogen is the best with half the space of the regular GB and its fast to,,if need to -ask me anything else,thanks and if u need to know the ones I froze I can let u know..............
I even done away with the launcher,I like GO Launcher better,but thats for each and all the different wallpapers apps gone

So I had a couple of data lockups today. Toggling Airplane Mode solved it both times. This is on T-Mobile UK, while in their HSPDA coverage.
As mentioned on XDA, auto rotation does not seem to work correctly, either. It will lock after it's been rotated once, and won't rotate back until I manually turn off auto rotation.

Thanks for the info nutpn. I am considering dumping ADW for Launcher Pro, which I really enjoyed on stock. One more question, is there an option to turn on the virtual keyboard when I hold the phone in landscape mode? So far I have to use the hardware keyboard exclusively.

It (keyboard) must not be fixed yet,because I nor my buddy haven't been able to get it going,I like keyboard pro but it wont work either,so it must be not quite running on the keyboard,Im sure it wont be long before we see that going,,, ,Jackpotclavin has really been working vigorously on this and I look for a update- prolly today on some of the items,I loaded the CM -8-14 on my wifes droid 2 global last night and she loves it,that guy has it working great ,so it wont be to long and Jackpotclavin will be here with some news maybe,,,,,,,.hes got it going great!

what you have done so far has been amazing, ive had maybe one tick, and its resolved itself. i was just wondering if you could get the charging light to work. but this may just be my phone. its not a nessicity. just would be nice. keep up the good work, cant wait for the next update!
working on a keyboard fix currently. the landscape keyboard works fine along with its word suggestions. regarding suggestions with the physical keyboard, the only problem right now is you have to press in the text box in order for the word suggestions to appear. i'll look into making it suggest right after typing with the physical keyboard but until then, if you want keyboard suggestions with the hard keyboard you must press in the search box, then type the message with the keys and it will suggest

i think he means the light around the charging port. i'll look into that and why it doesn't illuminate
I loaded the CM7 for the droid global 2 on my wifes last night and I hav e to say its nice and so far no bugs,battery life was great too,I had to borrow a few things from his for my droid pro cm7,but I am so glad we all finally have some CM7 and we owe Jackpotclavin forever and a day for jumping in and not giving up,so when any of yall can, please hit his paypal link up and donate some,because it takes alot of time on this

GSM user on Vodafone and toggling between airplane mode seems to reset it.Hey Jackpot how can we get the sound in our bootanimation,from what I am reading on Cyanogens site its just a matter of a few files pushed ,dont know myself???also does this not work with flash player,I have noticed several pictures with question marks or guess they r pictures ,either way can t open,just wondering
