when i open up the tool i come to the black screen and greeen writitng...do i skip to #9 and just root or do i need to go into the recovery part of the phone?

Just skip to whatever you want to run. The instructions can help too. Just be sure debugging and install from unknown sources is on.
Oh and mtp mode not mass storage.

This ss 2.11 is for kexec roms right?
Is there aokp kexec where i can watch movies?..cause the gingerbread aokp wouldnt play movies..

And if u have time, what roms are there?
Im working right now so i dont have time at the moment to dig around

Whats the difference in the aokp that u built vs. The normal?
Whats the difference in kernals?..what do kernals determine?

Up until a few days ago no d4 aokp builds were out yet. Nothing different in mine just fun to try building. The kernel is what is needed for the software to talk to the hardware.

Hey can u help me? Im all set up ready to rock, but that link is confusing.
There is stock jb aokp and kexec jb aokp,,,,,whats the difference?
Then theres FULL Maserati jb in a different section...well whats different in jb aokp and full jb?
And isnt cm10 jb?..why is it seperate?
Can u please tell me the difference in all the roms?..
I work 70hours a week so i dont have time to download all these roms and figure whats what...thanks..i really like aokp but the link is down in the rom section

Stock is using the stock kernel and kexec is a custom kernel

Jelly Bean just refers to android 4.1

Well idk what happend.
I flashed the kexec jb rom and flashed the gapps iv been using for "stock" jb roms and when I reboot, my phone cuts off and will only cut back on when u hold the volume keys and power to get into bootloader..

I'm pissed, i never should have left gingerbread aokp

Not sure why it wouldn't work. Just go back to your stock system in safestrap and try a fresh download or different rom.
