Thank's a lot, I will go ahead and do that soon as my phone hits 100%. Also, I guess I was the only one with that problem. But maybe you could do a update on the tool, that says "Update or Restore Droid 4 to... etc". Your call, it won't make your work any less awesome either way.

Edit: Everything went fine. Surprisingly the SBF was faster than I expected compared to my Droid X.

This will root ICS and install safestrap for ICS. The GB safestrap will not work for ICS. But you might want to wait Hashcode is close to safestrap 3.

I know the gb safe strap is no good for ics
What is the point of safestrap 3 if all the kexec roms work off safe strap 2.11?

Im just now jumping on the subject of ics based roms since iv been running aokp for gb until 3weeks ago.

I just re read ur directions and still not sure what i am reading.
Is this a tool that roots and gives me safe strap 2.11 and thats it; cause theres a lite version and a full version. And then i see the 6.17 ics sbf file when i have the Verizon's ics update..
Im not a noob i have aokp on d2g and aokp for d4 gingerbread with mods that are for samsung phones..so i know my way around a bit.

I think i will just use orangechoochoo's ics root tool and root it, and manually install ss 2.11..
But either way thanks for ur help

The lite version doesn't have the fastboot files included, but everything else is there.

So i need to download the lite version to my pc,
Open it
Hit run, with my phone pluged in of coarse
And it will install root and safe strap 2.11 all in one click?
