Before you jump off into all that just try a factory reset and wipe cache partition. When i first installed 2233 it was buggy as hell and wouldn't dl my apps from playstore until i did a factory reset and wiped cache.

Thanks! I actually ended up removing the speed dial squares that had a never ending loading icon, then waited a few and the contacts came right back.

You're right, there are quite a few apps that needed to be uninstalled/reloaded to work properly, which was a pain, but oh well. Love the new look and the phone is certainly faster overall as well.
