Will droid get "voice to text"

    Since the nexus one has it, will the droid get it with a 2.1 update.
    Cuz that looks so awsome.

    Press and long hold the magnifying glass, bottom right. Speak a search.

    Install TalkToMe Keyboard.

    i have handcent for SMS and I just long held the magnifying glass on the bottom right and you can speak your SMS text in there.. works awesome.. you have to enable it in Handcent tho.. (quick compose)

    You sure you don't mean voice to text? There's a setting for that.

    quick compose..

    has a mic, you speak and it composing what you say.

    Sorry. I stand corrected. I could have sworn it was a text to voice for visually impaired. I just looked again. Now I'm confused.

    Yes it will have the same capabilites. 2.1 is 2.1 is 2.1 minus the keyboard optimization and OMAP chipset optimization........

    Nexus One is a piece of hardware just like the Droid is a piece of hardware.

    Android 2.1 lets N1 do cool stuff. Droid is getting Android 2.1, so it will do the same cool stuff. :icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek::icon_eek:

    from what I'm reading from other places...yes it will included it with the Android 2.1 update.
    Its a great feature to have but weird at the same time. Imagine your on the bus or train and your talking your txt on the phone.
