Yupp, even more stoked for this phone now. Now if only they'd announce 4g for my area I think id die from excitement. LAs 4g so close! Yet so far.....

I WAS in a 4G area, but I just moved outside of Baltimore County. I'm still only a 10 minute drive away from 4G though.

I don't even care that my D1 can't run the arena app stable. I take back my words on waiting until I can see the phone before buying it too. I think I'll preorder, and if I don't like it just take it back before the 14 days are up.

Ugh, problem with that is that the 4th is a Sunday and Monday is a federal holiday. So it would get shipped on Tues and with VZW's 2 day shipping, we'd get it on official release day.

If I can get an early up (mine is due on 9/19) I will get it day one. If not, I'll get it on the 19th (and be antsy as hell!). Either way; COSTCO for me baby!!! 299 plus all the docks and an extra battery/charger is THE WAY TO GO. My OG Droid has just started getting flakey. Slow as crap responding/refreshing and 2 different batteries are lasting 4 hours or so and fully charging in 15 mins. WTF is up with that?? Anyway, the Bionic specs are FINE by me and the reports of 30+ Mbps down on 4g just about woodiates me.

Oh well, my Acer Iconia Pad has kept me happy for a while now.
