what temp should I set my setcpu profile for?

The default is >50 celsius, should I just keep the default temp or us there a better one?

50 C seems like a good ceiling. For extra safety, I use a 2-tiered temperature profile.

My first profile is for > 45 C - it is for 125/500
Then I have a profile with higher priority set for > 50 C at 125/400

I am being really careful since those are battery temps only in 2.2, and the battery is more vulnerable than the CPU, plus takes longer to get that hot. I have had this profile running for over a week, and have never hit it.

Do NOT set your minimum below 250 to avoid issues.

I have one set at 50.0c that drops to 800/250 and another at 55.6c that drops it to 550/250.

yea people have reported problems trying to awake from 125

and i doubt theres much difference (ie. battery wear) than 250 (other than the obvious 125mhz difference)
