Here are the rankings for the U.S. of the top five cell phones, according to The NPD Group (Q4 2010):
    1. Apple iPhone 4 (Apple iOS)
    2. Motorola Droid X (Android OS)
    3. HTC EVO 4G (Android OS)
    4. Apple iPhone 3GS (Apple iOS)
    5. Motorola Droid 2 (Android OS)

I can't believe the 3GS is on that list and none of the Galaxy S phones are

Is this for Q4 only or since their inception? I was under the impression the OG Droid was still the "single" best selling Android handset. I could believe the X outsold the OG Droid but find it more difficult to believe the D2 did.

Yeah sorry I updated it. This was for Q4. I think I have seen other charts that say D1 is still WAAAAAy ahead of everything else for overall Android leader.

Oh ok. I agree that seeing the 3GS on that list is bit surprising. I know they still sell it but wouldn't have thought it would be a top seller.
