I was in Scotland with my family in 1994 and went to a castle. The tour group was huge and the typical sites of the castle. When we got to the dungeon, the guide was explaining the odd, smooth marks in the rock where prisoners would lick the rock for moisture. We were leaving the well lit room, no windows, and my sister and I were the last ones out. The room suddenly went dark and we couldn't see anything. We hurried out to our parents who were in the doorway waiting for us. My sister and I both saw the room black out, but my parents were looking right at us and they said the lights never went out. Still gives me the chills.
