I am going to guess they will push an update to the phone where to disable the charge or something like they did for the first recall for the people who did not want to exchange. I am probably going back to LG G3 and patiently wait till next year (maybe)..

I would settle for a refund instead of replacing it and having a payment plan on a phone you do not want.

    Look around.

What manufacturer or product out there have shown to be able to compete.

LG have potentially the best device of the year next to the note and no one knows about it. Outside of the hard core no one knows what a pixel is. Motorola and HTC have fallen off and the iPhone is predictable.

Samsung can market the 8 by owning they made a mistake and will make it up with the 8. And people will flock. And that is because people are dying for something cool and hip and the note is at the level of the iPhone.

But we can go back and forth all day but the reality is we will have to see and ride the wave.

Apple can come out with their i8 with the Pencil, they have a place for it now that the headphone jack is gone...

My fear is also that the Notes are doomed. As soon as a new one is released some jerk with cook it to grab headlines and start this all over again. If I were to get a refund do I have to give back the Gear2 (not going to happen). I know of no other 64gb phone with a microSD slot which was my prime mover (the S-pen was a bonus).

When I first got the Note 4 it felt large. Now everything else feels too small!

I think they should give me a full refund and let me keep this phone(at my own discretion and wave any liability from Samsung), OR give me a full refund and give me the s7edge

I guess Samsung is trying to prevent any fire sales on the Note 7...

    (too soon?)

I just don't want the S7 Edge. I don't like my wifes near as much as I like my Note. I could go back to my Droid Turbo, but will be a real bummer. I feel as if we should get something else besides just a full refund and a $25 statement credit. They need to give us something worthwhile....
