Phone lagging

Is it just Maps that's lagging? If so, try uninstalling all the updates so it goes back to the version you shipped with, and disable automatic updates for a few days. A botched update might have caused loading lag.

Eh just read above. Can you delete and reinstall the app?

Also.. The degree of accuracy that the device is getting.. GPS, network location, WiFi.. Depending on what its settings are.. That could have some effect
