Greetings- upgraded from Storm to Droid X- loving life. But yesterday, the 3G network turned off on its own??? so I didn't get any email on my phone. I can see how to turn the Wi Fi network on and off, but what am I missing about the 3G network on/off? Can someone help?

as for the 3G, are you sure u didnt turn off sync and not 3G? theres no "simple" way to really turn off 3G (not something u do by accident unless u use airplane mode) so i think it might be something else

Welcome to the forums. As for the 3g mine occasionally cuts out in which case I turn airplane mode on and off and if that doesn't work I restart the phone.

Appreciate the feedback Abe. I will try rebooting and see if it helps. I have had my Droid X for about 6 weeks, and this is the first issue I have had.

Welcome! Yesterday, my 3G reverted to 1G so I rebooted and all has been well.
