Hey everyone I'm extremely new to Droid family... I bought my droid 2 only three days ago. I am looking forward to finding out some tips and tricks, and hopefully eventually posting some of my own! Unfortunately, i'm already having problems getting the phone on the internet - the phone won't connect to wi-fi and the 3g seems to be completely off... any tips to turning on the 3g would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome! I have a Droid so my suggestions may be off

On my Droid the 3G is the primary means of connection. I do not need to do anything to activate the 3G. I do, however, need to activate wifi. If I activate wifi it supersedes the 3G. Once I turn the wifi off the 3G automatically kicks in.

The only suggestion I have is to call *288 and update your phone or call *611 and ask the VZW customer service folks for assistance.
