1. You want that $100.00 in your pocket or an Amazon Fire TV don't you? Well here's the deal. With our new updated look we are in desperate need of an updated logo. The 'old' one has certainly served us well, but it's time. Find all the details here: bit.ly/1q0k6Wa

Hey everyone :) I'm extremely new to Droid family... I bought my droid 2 only three days ago. I am looking forward to finding out some tips and tricks, and hopefully eventually posting some of my own! Unfortunately, i'm already having problems getting the phone on the internet - the phone won't connect to wi-fi and the 3g seems to be completely off... any tips to turning on the 3g would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome! I have a Droid so my suggestions may be off

On my Droid the 3G is the primary means of connection. I do not need to do anything to activate the 3G. I do, however, need to activate wifi. If I activate wifi it supersedes the 3G. Once I turn the wifi off the 3G automatically kicks in.

The only suggestion I have is to call *288 and update your phone or call *611 and ask the VZW customer service folks for assistance.
