I decided to experiment with different ROMS.

I have a Driod 1, FRG22D.

I rooted using "Root Droid 1 – Regardless of OS Version" This has worked well.

I downloaded ROM Manager

I backed-up the phone.

I downloaded ChevyNo1 ROM 1.1ghz at low power.

I tried to install it from ROM Manager and the phone kept telling me that the file could not be found.

After trying this a couple times it would stop at the screen that asks to reboot, I wiped the data and cache and tried again, from there I directed it to look for the ROM file on the sd card.

It found the file and started installing the ROM and all looked fine, until….
It rebooted into a boot loop.

Now when going back into bootloader, it restarts before I can install another ROM.

I tried the using the "Unbrick Pretty Much Anything!!!" post and I cannot see my phone in RSD Lite.

I am new to this all and hope someone can help me out, Thanks!!

First off, did you wipe data and cache before installing the new ROM? Can you get into recovery now?(power+x) if you can get into recovery rsdlite won't be needed. That's an extreme measure.

Sorry, I added this thread and didnt see it post. I figured it didnt post...

I kept reading in the forum and found a similar situation. The fix was to clear the cache.

It is working great now.

Again, sorry, I didnt realize this posted.
