I have a question. I have a Droid with the data plan, because I use it for all kinds of things, but my wife wants a Droid for only texting and calling, can she get one without the data plan becuase she is only my wife?????

actually you should be able able to activate the phone without a data plan if you bought it outright. i just activated my windows mobile phone without data for my nephew. data is only when you get contract pricing on the device.

As soon as you enter the Droid IMEI number the Data plan will be added, There is no way around it. This has been beat to death several times here.
