5.5.886 "check for update not available"

Like everyone else, im having data drop problems with my Bionic. I hear that the leaked version of 5.9.901 can fix all this, but im real unexperienced and dont want to mess stuff up so im waiting until verizon releases it soon.

Im running 5.5.886 right now and when i try to update i always get the message "Check for update is not available at this time. Try again later."

I unrooted, but that didnt do anything. Any suggestions! help please, thanks.
