On droid incredible with 5500 extended battery and the life now SUCKS> Was fantastic on 2.5 but HORRIBLE on 3.0 Any ideas?

I would think you did not get a good install. I would go back and reflash/install the rom again - no wipes.

Anyone elses gmail not syncing?

Do you have sync checked under settings,accounts and sync, select your gmail account you want synced and make sure "sync gmail" is checked.

hahaha i ain't that much of a noob, i'm synced but it's saying sync isn't working right now. then when i reboot it works for a couple hours but just stops later.

I had that issue and I noticed a triangle in the upper left corner in my notification bar, and it was permissions for Gmail, went back pressed menu -> canceled the sync, then menu -> sync and have not had the problem since.

So other issues I've been getting was slow or no landscape or portrait and Google Navigation could not get connect to the network, even though I had green 3G.

contact pictures are not pulling/showing up in 3rd party apps like hancent

very impressed with the rom otherwise...especially for only being in beta.

wished the lockscreen was theme'd though, the sliders are ugly and killing me (i know, its not because its in beta and final release it will be).

btw, if anyone wanted to know, the metamorph transition animation hack works with this.

question: does this have a task killer built in? my temp monitor and screebl app just got shut down while i was browsing a website...

if yes, where do i access the settings for it?

I've tried all the GB builds out and this is simply the best. This is the only one that the camera worked for me. I do have one issue: GPS

Not a deal killer (this is easily my daily driver) but something I miss. I also wish my governor speeds stayed where I put them after a reboot.

Phenomenal battery life - probably the best I've ever had. Nice work guys...

Question, when I first flash this I get the transition animation like a tv shutting off when the screen goes off and on. It just disappeared all of a sudden and I don't know what happened to it. I didn't make any modifications other than ud settings

Any idea how o get it back?

you didn't set screen animation in settings to fast....because that kills the on off animation....just checking..

So...after everything, I can get about a day of battery life with this. I think I had better on the initial release of GB (don't remember who built that one).

Stock kernel leads to some restarts, but all in all I'm happy with this. Thanks BD!

After 1 day of tUD 3.0.0 Beta use, probably my only complaint so far is the lag the ph now seems to have when rotating the phone from portrait to landscape & vice cersa...other than that I have not had any real "issues".

Is anyone running a chevy kernel on this? I left the stock one in for now but I'd like to get back up to 1ghz and I'm also going to be installing ubuntu.

I'm not running Chevy as they've never played well with my Droid. I am running a 1.1 Slayher with no problems.
