My theory is that we are going to hear something from Verizon on Monday because their "big" 7 day websale ends then... So, prediction: active promotion begins next week and first deliveries within another week...

my predicition is that verizon will say preorder comes up tomorrow randomly this month. and to be honest, december 8th release date scares me. its coming up and idk how ready vzw is.

Im leaning on the 8th becuase of all the previous leaks supporting it. inside info is cool but i think im all 'leak'ed out. i just want my phone. Lol, everyday we are getting guides, reviews, and all this whatnot of the nexus but i cant get my hands on one yet.

I don't get what the hold up could be now?! It sounds like the "bugs" have been worked out. I really thought pre-orders were going to start today. Reps have stated that there most likely will be a pre-order so wouldn't you think they would last for a week or so. Verizon really is making me ticked about this lack of information. And when you do ask reps about the phone they link you to their "latest" announcement dated 10/25. Why would you say its coming later this year, then not say a damn thing for over a month?! Makes no sense...GRRRRRR

Can they really do pre-orders in less than a weeks time? Seems kinda tough...
That's what I'm wondering. Would be epic over night shipments coming to stores if demand is too high.

It's very possible. How many days ahead did the Rezound have? Anyone know?

The Rezound didn't have a pre-order. At least I'm almost certain it didn't
Realistically they only need a day. All of their phones on their website ship next day (the next day). So one day prior they would ship on the release day (which is when they'd ship no matter what).
Could make it very hectic, but do-able. Not to mention that Apple has done 1-day pre-orders as well, so it is obviously possible. But since I think they would like more than that, I'll go with between 1 and 6 days (now the max for an 8th release).
