Question:

If Costco gets these on Friday with a sweet bundle and I decide to go that route, can I still charge this phone to my Verizon account? Or do I have to actually purchase from Costco? I've never bought a phone from Costco and was just wondering how they roll.

That's sweet. I checked for those yesterday and they did not have that up yet. Unless of course I missed it, which is always possible :)

Well I know for a fact they weren't up on Monday but they are now and that's what matters. I think I'm going to go Commuter this time, the Defender was a bit bulky on the Bionic. I want to be able to have it fit comfortably in my pocket without people thinking I took Viagra.

You will HAVE to pay Costco for the phone.

I lived in chandler when i was little. currently i live like 20min from their. im surprised to see that at least 2 people randomly on these forums are in the valley. I figured i was practically the only one. haha glad to see some nerds in the area ya know? at least your not hitting up my VZ because if you cut me in the nexus line i think i might turn into the hulk, then wed realize we both go to forums here and laugh. Then id run up and take the lead again while suddenly getting last nexus. :p

That's funny, I thought I was the only one!

And luckily we have more than one VZ store....I like you, and I'd hate to have to give you a beat-down to get the Nexus that is destined to be mine back in my big, strong hands.

Absolutely. Been rooting since my D1 days, then my DX, then my daughter's Dinc, then my bionic, and soon my GNex. Seems I've become the android help desk at work and home.

Haha, you too? Only phones I haven't rooted are the Eris, Thunderbolt, Droid 3, Razr, Rezound and of course the G-Nex(until Friday).

Yes, this is 100% true. My friends who work at Verizon Wireless stores are kept in the dark about big releases most of the time. They get told the day of when they arrive at work when big devices are released. I did get a date from a corporate store in Florida last night that said Friday is the day but after the Casey Anthony case I don't know how much I can trust people's judgement from Florida. I'm going in late to work regardless on Friday so I'll be at Verizon around 8:30 a.m. I will post here if it's not the release date and in the I Officially Got My Galaxy Nexus thread if it is.

That would be much appreciated since ur on the East coast. I'm central time so ur report back will let me know if I need to walk in my VZW store. I have Friday off so god I hope its the day.

Just ordered mine with a Friday delivery date :icon_ banana:

My question on the TPU cases on Amazon, how do we know it fits our version and not the GSM? Is the model #s different or something. I was gonna buy one lastnight but was a lil iffy about it.

11/17/11 Update:
Our case will fit both models. It was designed around the i515 (LTE) dimensions. Since the i9250 is less than a 1/2mm smaller it will also fit perfectly. You only run into issues once you get over 1mm in size difference on TPU cases.

My advice for you is simple: Develop some sort of technology that allows you to be in two places simultaneously.

I'm working on time-travel myself. I figure it's no big rush though since, duh, I can travel back in time to now and have it done any minute now. That should solve Truss's problem as well. PM me offline if you'd like to borrow it. ;)
